I'd just like to say that I'm really digging maxis and medis this spring/summer!! They feel so fresh and cool and you don't have to worry about having perfectly smooth legs for it ;) I have a couple of maxi dresses that i put a top over and use as a skirt and it works so well! I love using things in different ways makes me feel pretty savvy...you know ;)

Happy Hump Day! It's been a very busy and stressful week. Hopefully I catch up on some sleep the rest of the week. Anyways, I wore this outfit last week when the weather was a lot cooler, it was about 88 degrees today so I was definitely not wearing a jacket today!

Pretty Pink Plaid Dress

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago and just noticed that I was wearing one of my favorite pair of earrings that I recently lost. The were a light pink and dangly Don't you hate it when you lose earings? I tend to do that a lot because if i lay down somewhere I just take them off and put them somewhere and since they are so small they get lost everywhere :( Hopefully I find them!

bittersweet goodbye

Hello :) Goodbyes are bittersweet. Although, after over three years of trying something that just doesn't seem to work out it's time to let it go. Relationships are complicated yes, but if the negative is outweighing the positive in a relationship then its seriously time to reconsider how healthy and realistic that relationship is for yourself. I believe that so many times young women deprive themselves of their own emotions and only consider how their partner makes them feel. Ladies!!! we are young, smart, motivated, and beautiful! Don't settle for anything less than you deserve. Realize your worth and make your partner realize that as well, even if that means walking away from them. It is true, people will only treat you how you let them treat you.

The world is at our hands, take hold of that and stay positive! Stay around positive energetic people, and most of all enjoy your life. Try being single for a while. It is so liberating :)

All of this for an OFTD post, well it was important for me to express this because I have met way too many amazing young women who are stuck in dead relationships.

I wore this outfit yesterday to work. It was quite warm and comfortable, but a little too warm for being inside a store all day.

OFTD #2: this is what i wore yesterday to work. The weather is getting slightly better with less clouds and more sun. I'm looking forward to the end of this week, forecast projects a high of 91 degrees!! oh yeahhh!!

First outfit of the day post

Who says denim and stripes can't be mixed? Although, i had the jacket off for most of the day because it was quite warm in California today (what else is new). I like the combination of dark and light denim with the stripes. Wore it with my black steve madden boots, which now that I'm thinking of...should of worn different shoes, what do you think?
